Exhibit Operations Coordinator

Our client, an American research and advisory technology firm headquartered in Stamford, is seeking an Exhibit Operations Coordinator for a 9-month assignment.

In this assignment, you will be tasked with delivering a flawless operational experience to exhibitors by managing the event logistics from an exhibitor perspective and to ensure the client services partner(s) have the tools necessary to support growth and retention on their assigned event(s).

Responsibilities:
• Production and management of the Exhibitor Resource Center to ensure a seamless planning tool for all exhibitors, including development of the tool to ensure we are using lead edge technology
• Responsibility for managing the production of event materials as it relates to exhibitors’ information
• Lead in the execution of key marketing promotional opportunities as well as assist in the development of new exhibitor packages
• Build and maintain excellent relationships with internal teams by working closely with them on a day to day basis
• Understand the objectives of our clients and assist the client services partner(s) to ensure they have appropriate and timely information which will improve client retention
• Implementing actions required to ensure their best return on investment
• Constantly evaluating the experience we offer and act on feedback
• Collaborate effectively within the global team and to facilitate consistency
• Assist in souring event partners for additional services, negotiating costs and managing orders
• Liaise with key event partners and team members to ensure smooth event execution
• Accurately manage event budgets with direct responsibility for certain areas, producing accurate monthly forecasts and managing costs effectively
• Responsibility for developing the floorplan in conjunction with the event team, sales team and client services partner
• Attend event site visits to source marketing promotional opportunities, ensure good event flow and be a voice for the exhibitor experience
• Develop and maintain inventory management as it relates to exhibitor showfloor, sessions and marketing promotional opportunities

Required:
• Bachelors degree
• 2 - 3 years experience in the events/exhibition industry ideal
• Proven event operational responsibility
• Strong organizational skills
• High attention to detail
• Competent in Microsoft Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint
• Strong oral & written communication skills
• Solution oriented
• High sense of urgency
• Passionate about event logistics
• Collaborative
• Financial management skills
