Executive Creative Director

Executive Creative Director needed for a full-service ad agency in Downtown Dallas.

RESPONSIBILITIES
- Works with Account Directors and Creative teams to develop and refine creative strategies to achieve or exceed client objectives
- Defines and implements processes required to develop and deliver the best creative product (as defined by our client)
- Recruits and staffs teams as determined by the business plan
- Leads the teams to deliver diverse creative solutions
- Establishes and conducts creative reviews for all work assigned and champions the work to the Account teams
- Represents and leads the Creative group at key agency summits
- Leads new business pitches
- Works with teams assigned to the client to enhance delivery of all products and to identify and develop efficiency

DESIRED SKILLS & EXPERIENCE
- 10+ years in a leadership role in copy or design within an interactive agency
- Demonstrates an ability to lead client and multidisciplinary teams to deliver world class creative
- Possess a deep passion and understanding of interactive media
- Thorough understanding of interactive media and concepts
- Establish direction and vision which mobilizes the creative team/s to meet clearly define goals
- Proven ability to coach guide and develop creative personnel
- Expert written, verbal and presentation skills
- Ability to work with multiple teams agency wide
- Must be results and detail-oriented and be able to juggle multiple priorities in order to meet deadlines
- Awards and recognition within the industry
- Examples of thought leadership within the digital industry
- Strong portfolio highlighting interactive work required for consideration
- 15+ years progressive marketing experience
- 8+ years agency experience
- 8+ years supervisory experience of 10 or more with a proven track record of great mentoring
- 5+ years integrated marketing experience
- Ability to see the big picture, determine the right course of action for the group, delegate responsibility to the right people, and allocate the right resources
- Ability to identify, conceive and advance high level marketing strategies beyond limits of simple creative execution
- Ability to recognize quality creative execution in terms of marketing strategy and creative standards
- Demonstrated ability to effectively communicate marketing strategies and creative standards in a way that educates and encourages members of the group to produce the best work possible
- Demonstrated leadership success in managing a team of creatives
- Proven track record of delivering high quality work (creatively and strategically solid) within budget parameters
- High level of professional conduct that instills respect and appreciation from clients, senior management, account service management and direct reports
- Powerful, persuasive presenter
- Strong conceptual ability
- Gifted writer or art director
- Proven strategic abilities
- Proven new business success
- Creative catalyst who raises the bar for quality and strategy as demonstrated by the quality of work in the group
