Our client an NYC­based company investing in consumer tech start­ups is actively looking for a rockstar Executive Assistant to join their team!They back the new wave of entrepreneurs who are reimagining daily life, creating market­ defining products and services that make our work, play and home lives simpler, better — and more satisfying. They invest across marketplaces, commerce, media/content, services built on mobile and connected living. They’re looking for a Executive Assistant who is passionate about their mission, excited about new technologies and the startup ecosystem and can keep us in check. You’ll support our Partners on a day to day basis as well as help keep the operations ticking.

The ideal candidate:

● Is organized, process ­driven and intuitive 

● Is able to juggle multiple responsibilities and drive projects from conception to goal 

● Is interested in technology and startups 

● Has strong writing skills and knowledge of social media tools 

● Is self­-motivated with dedicated work ethic and entrepreneurial attitude 

● Has strong people/interpersonal skills: while you will be working directly with the internal ventures team, you will also be a line of communication between us and the outside world, potentially speaking with portfolio companies, entrepreneurs, other VCs and upper management responsibilities

● Managing the day­ to ­day operations of the office 

● Managing agendas, scheduling for priorities and acting as a gatekeeper against waste of time 

● Answering and prioritizing calls and email communications 

● Booking professional and personal travel 

● Making sure all expenses are properly recorded 

● Making sure we eat lunch (it sounds silly, but it’s key to staying productive) 

● Coordinating breakfasts/drinks with key partners, and other stakeholders 

● Creating/improving both professional and personal time management systems 

● Collecting and driving a list of key decisions we need to make each day, such as: things we need to sign, documents to review, important emails, invitations, deadlines, reminders, etc. along with an understanding of our processes 

● Taking on the fun task of reorganizing our document management system, and keeping it up to date

● Keeping our website up to date (so it doesn’t hurt if you can bust a move with Photoshop and WordPress) 

● Coordinating events in the office that we are hosting, whether for our portfolio companies, female founders or the broader startup ecosystem 

● Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office & Google Docs Nice to have: Proficiency with Adobe Photoshop and WordPress to help oversee the website
