Events and Exibition Manager

Our clients is seeking candidates that have worked on large global corporate events with budgets of £500k and above, but please apply if you're experience ticks most of the boxes below. Prior Account Management and Project Management experience are highly desired.

Job Purpose:

Helping lead the team to deliver a multitude of cross media projects include campaign visualisation and conceptual design, print, e-publishing, mobile and digital media (digital, 3 and 4 D).

The ideal candidate will typically: - Be a skilled writer and creative thinker with the ability to implement ideas in practice. - Have good communications skills; manage both the internal team and contracted agencies. Tasks typically include leading the in-house production team, ensuring effective delivery of external communications, management of high level stakeholders and understanding the Corporate vision.

A Self-driven, results-oriented individual with a positive outlook. A natural leader who critically assesses their own performance. Mature, credible, and comfortable in dealing with senior executives. Reliable and determined. Empathic communicator with the ability to take a holistic approach. Sufficiently mobile and flexible to travel. Keen for new experience.

Experience/Competencies Required
A senior events and exhibitions team member is required to support a team through the management of both events and exhibitions. The project manager will report to the team lead and responsible for the following scope of work:

Internal Liaison
• Writing event briefs taken from the internal client and ensuring third party suppliers understand the requirements.
• Planning the pre-marketing campaigns for an event or exhibition, responsible for designs of advertisements, ensuring trade publications have correct dimensions and branding guidelines.
• Offering support where required venue sourcing and supporting senior project managers.
• Implementing online event processes, i.e. registration forms, event websites and pre-post event evaluation /ROO/ROI information.
• Relationship building and management is a key role, this involves time and understanding.

Proposal Composition
• Venue searching, which required inspection trips to various locations such as US, Europe and Middle East to support the team.
• Sourcing the contractors
• Developing strong knowledge on the various business areas to enable effective management of core event content.

Technical Production
• Experience of staging and production for the main entertainment areas. This includes stage design, sound and lighting management.
• Management of onsite production team to ensure our companies’ objectives are met.
