Events Manager

This candidate will cover for our event operations program manager while on maternity leave. The role includes field communications, budget and event management as well as program reporting and tracking. They will support the Operations team and participate in weekly calls.

Team & Project:
The team partners with various product groups within the company to facilitate adoption of newly released and next generation technologies. We drive program activities such as training events, hands on labs, and technical support services.

Responsibilities include:
1. Program Communications – Corporate and Field stakeholders
a. Manage worldwide emails on event resources including content, trainers, marketing assets, event budget and tools.
b. Attend weekly meetings (online)
c. Provide weekly event reporting
d. Manage the communication channels such as the worldwide site
2. Budget Tracking & Management
a. Track quarterly spending and email field updates with call to actions
b. Report to Ops team on spend vs forecast on a monthly basis
3. Event Management & Reporting
a. Manage Master Event Tracking list
b. Track event results to Area targets
c. Report on event results with weekly emails and monthly summaries.
d. Work with the to get Master Event List updates and results
e. Manage event guidance & some light logistics

Skills required:
• Excellent written communication skills with experience in International cultures
• Strong working knowledge of email, scheduling, word processing, spreadsheets and presentation software; with experience using current version of MSOffice
• The aptitude to learn new process while delivering high quality results on time
• Highly detail oriented and effective organizational skills
• Ability to effectively implement and monitor complex plans and schedules
• The ability to multi-task, take instructions and work independently, comfortable with partner and customer facing interactions and a friendly and professional demeanor in all actions are mandatory.

Experience required:
• Experience in international cultures and communications - must
• 3-5 years administrative or project coordination experience – must
• Event or Project Management – preferred
