Vitamin T has an immediate opening for an experienced Events Coordinator to work on several large-scale events in the Metro Detroit area. This is a short term, contract opportunity with a chance of becoming permanent.

THE ROLE:
The Events Coordinator is responsible for planning and executing events and trade shows of all sizes. This individual will be responsible for the planning, coordination, set-up from start to finish. This individual should be experienced with shipping, dealing with labor unions or venders at the expo houses, dealing with our exhibit design company, supporting the marketing managers with event logistics and coordination, etc.

QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS:
+ 1 – 2+ years experience in Event Coordinating/Planning
+ Direct Tradeshow management a plus
+ Communication: Event Coordinators listen to their clients needs and present ideas and soltions to their requirements.
+ Able to communicate with suppliers, contractors, employees
+ Organization skills are a must. Many things happen all at once.
+ Customer service and interpersonal skills are required
+ Experience working with technology – computers, iPads, monitors etc.
+ Be able to travel for events
