Events & Direct Marketing Manager

This person will be instrumental in defining and executing integrated regional activities to increase customer acquisition initiatives in support of the business unit’s objectives and strategy. In this role you will work with internal partners, such as sales, marcom, product marketing, direct marketing & operations as well as external vendors to ensure quality and timely execution and communication of regional events, direct email, postal and telemarketing campaigns. You will demonstrate your knowledge of direct marketing best practices and proven experience in segmentation strategies, compelling offers, targeted messaging and testing. You will identify regional events strategy, mange event execution and follow up marketing activities.
Proven knowledge of the SMB IT decision maker, their goals, challenges, and purchase process is necessary. This role requires a marketing professional that is creative, quick on their feet and has demonstrated experience in online marketing and can perform in a fast-paced, goal-driven environment.

• Designing, executing and managing direct marketing plans including scheduling, reporting and budget management
• Work in conjunction with cross-functional teams
• Collaborate and communicate with sales, operations, product marketing and marcom teams
• Ensure critical campaign elements (promotional code, phone/web tracking setup, toll-free numbers, URLs, landing pages, mail component codes, etc.) are correct, functional and ready when needed
• Participate in the review of direct marketing content and creative
• Coordinate and review direct deployment, including data segmentation & counts, tests, reviews and approvals
• Manage all aspects of regional events; contracts, logistics, exhibit space, signage, messaging, speakers, collateral, promotions
• Maintain and track event and direct marketing calendar
• Measure effectiveness & analysis programs, address gaps, optimize, and make recommendations as appropriate

Qualifications
- BS/BA degree preferred
- Minimum 5 years experience in B2B marketing in technology industry; data security and protection a plus
- Knowledge of and experience working with direct marketing vendors or internal services
- Excellent communication skills including written, oral and presentations
- Experience working with cross functional teams
- Experience with SalesForce.com and marketing automation systems a plus
- Field event experience including seminars, tradeshows, event series
- Organized, detail oriented and strong at attacking challenges
- Skilled at managing multiple projects and deadlines
- Ability to thrive in a fast-pasted, deadline driven environment
- Experience marketing to SMB segment
