Events & Corporate Meetings Coordinator

Our client, a financial services industry leader, is looking for a Corporate Events & Meeting Coordinator on a 9+ contract basis.

Responsibilities:
-Partners with various groups to serve as a meeting coordinator
-Secures meeting space and confirms logistical details
-Manages attendee list and coordinates the invitation process
-Drafts agendas and collaborates with the Channel teams to develop sessions and prepares speakers; coordinates content reviews with Marketing and Client Segment teams
-Ensures salesforce members in attendance are briefed on meeting goals and objectives; may be called upon to facilitate any aspect of a meeting with associates, senior business leaders, and/or advisors
-Coordinates delivery of meeting materials to meeting locations
-Drafts, distributes, and analyzes survey questionnaires following each meeting

Requirements:
-Demonstrates strong production coordination skills including facilitating meetings, maintaining schedules, tracking deliverables, problem solving, and escalating issues as appropriate
-Demonstrates strong written and verbal communication skills; strong grammar and syntax skills; strong presentation skills; strong inter-personal skills
-Demonstrates the ability to effectively communicate with a diverse group of associates, senior business leaders, and/or advisors
-Demonstrates strong detail orientation, process orientation, organizational, and multi-tasking skills; ability to effectively manage an unpredictable workload and meet established deadlines
-Requires willingness to travel to meeting locations as needed
-Requires minimum 2 years of relatable experience; previous meeting/event planning experience is highly preferred
