We are looking for an Event Marketing Management specialist with digital and in-person event experience to join the Company.

The team you will be working in is a newly merged field marketing team with a wider marketing remit, which includes both Commercial and Consumer accountability and marketing excellence. The team leader is responsible for bringing the modern marketing vision to life in each Area/Sub, providing the Commercial leadership and accountability we need to deliver connected sales and marketing as a reality for each and every team. The team creates a strong centre of gravity that bridges the work we do with segments and the focus we have on landing Global Demand Centres. The team also plans and executes consumer marketing campaigns and programs, embracing our modern marketing principles.

The Events Marketing Manager role provides event marketing best practice within the Subsidiary/Area and works to achieve business objectives through in-person and online event marketing excellence. This is part of a new events team encompassing all UK events in one central service for the entire Subsidiary, reporting to the Events Lead. They will lead the marketing of the “always on” customer engagement events programme that delivers a full customer experience programme to achieve agreed metrics, within budget. Providing cross company visibility for the programme and ensuring that key stakeholders are fully engaged and supportive of the programme. Working closely with the Sectors, and key functions to deliver customer-centric marcomms as well as insights for future event planning. The Events Marketing Manager works with a virtual team of local and global marketing stakeholders to design and execute event marketing strategies and programs, both in-person and digital, in support of Global Engagement Programs (GEPs), broader campaigns and audience programs.

The Impact You’ll Be Making…
• Marketing communications: A new role in the events team covering the marketing and demand generation of all events both digital and in-person. The role will cover all channels including email, RM, social, web and will have the responsibility of ensuring audiences are developed and built for the events with minimum drop out rates. Growing the audience for flagship events. Working with the sales teams to drive customer engagement.
• Resource Management: Drive delegate registration to ensure alignment with the right Global Engagement Plans to create Marketing Qualified Leads with measurable ROI. Working closely with the data team to drive insights to inform planning.
• Event Metrics & Insights: Drive adoption of the new standard event measurement/eval approach to enable more consistent event insights and optimisation. Leverages business analytics and relevant metrics to drive business impact.
• A deep understanding of the business plans to ensure events strategy is aligned to the outcomes and that agendas, messaging and BOMs are developed and executed for maximum impact
• Work closely with Marketing teams to ensure the right audiences are attending each event, that we are engaging with them via the right channels and creating the optimum customer journeys.
• Be able to effectively manage budgets with a clear ROI

Who we’re looking for…

Experiences Required: Education, Key Experiences, Skills and Knowledge:
• Established related event marketing experience
• Business/marketing analytics & digital marketing and social amplification desired. Understanding of marketing automation concepts, a plus
• Bachelor’s degree (B.S./B.A.) required. Master’s degree preferred. Business, Marketing or Communications field of study preferred.
