Event Marketing Coordinator

Our top hotel industry client is looking to hire a part time (20-30 hour per week) marketing coordinator to help plan a contest-related event. Priority will go to candidates with contest and events experience.

Company and Project Information:
• The individual in this role will work as an event planning specialist for a Corporate and Hotel company innovation challenge
• The innovation challenge will involve a contest that allows employees to submit their ideas on two challenge topics. The ideas will go through a voting process and an eventual Hotel Executive Committee evaluation process to determine the winners.


Key Responsibilities
• Planning and coordinating all tasks for the employee ideation process (how ideas get submitted, vetted, etc.)
• Planning and coordinating all tasks for an employee voting process on the best ideas
• Securing resources, creating workshops for the top ideas to create a pitch for the Hotels Executive Committee
• Arranging the event/calendars for top ideas to be presented to the Hotel Executive Committee
• Developing communications and partnering with the Communications team on all events and surrounding messaging

Required Qualifications
• Project Planning
• Strong written and verbal communications skills
• Event Planning
• Proficiency with MS-Office, social media
