An energy support company is looking for an Event Marketing Manager to join their team. As the Event Marketing Manager, you’ll report to the VP Global Marketing and will be responsible for strategizing, executing, and managing global tradeshow events as well as assisting on other key in-person event initiatives. This is an opportunity for a take-charge, technically sophisticated, analytical but highly creative marketer, to make a huge difference in the growth of a fast, exciting company.

Responsibilities:
• Event Planning – You know the ins, outs, and in-betweens of events, having planned just about everything under the sun. Your back pocket is bulging with well-tested tricks to ensure every event you plan goes off without a hitch. You must be highly detail focused.
• Tradeshow Genius – You don’t find it odd when people stop in their tracks to gaze at or even photograph your stunning booth presence. You know it’s awesome. And that slightly smug smile on your face is a result of you knowing you made all this happen at a fraction of the cost of some of the other booths out there.
• Contract Guru – You are the Yoda of contract negotiations, knowing how to navigate the complex and varied contract types including tradeshows, hotels, conference centers, advertising, and various types of suppliers. You find a way to work in the sweetest editions our competitors haven’t thought of.
• Event Promotion – In addition to your event prowess, your uncanny ability to put together stellar event promotions, HTML emails, and event landing pages surprises even you at times. While you don’t need to be a coding genius to win here, your growing HTML skill set, working knowledge of email communication tools, and CMS systems will score you serious points.
• Analytics – You’ll use tools like Salesforce.com, Pardot, and Gooddata to analyze event leads and follow-up programs, constantly testing new ways to drive more leads and more conversions.
• Marketing Automation – You’ll work directly with Pardot or other marketing automation technologies to deliver timely and relevant emails pre and post event to help drive leads through the sales pipeline.
• Creatively Resourceful – Your thriftiness is legendary – you are pro at getting more done with less. Creativity is oozing from between the tabs of your binder - you excel at taking something cookie cutter and transforming it into something interesting and engaging.
• New Markets – You’ll research and assess new ways to drive new leads to our events, leveraging event advertising, targeted lists, and other opportunities to get out there. Your test and follow-up campaigns will prove their worth.
• Database Marketing –You’ll understand the best ways to segment and leverage this asset to drive traffic/registrations for our events and promote across our database to targeted groups.
