Seeking an experienced event professional with a strong passion for integrated marketing to lead the employee and candidate experience at events. This role will lead the creation process for the strategic vision of key events and experiences through to activation and onsite management to meet the internal stakeholders objectives.
The ideal contractor will have extensive event management experience to support all aspects of the events including the planning, execution, logistics, communications and vendor, stakeholder and budget management. The role will also craft the initial strategy and plans. This role will work closely with various groups ranging from the internal I&D marketing team, to public relations, product management, technical, operations and finance as well as our key partners in SW/HW engineering and recruiting. This professional will also be responsible for leading external creative and production agencies and vendors. The role will have two direct reports supporting production and logistics.
This candidate must be comfortable with ambiguity and be able to provide structure and leadership in autonomy. This person much have the leadership and organization skills of a Senior level project manager, the detail-oriented eyes of a designer, extraordinary customer service and relationship management skills and the ability to converse with technical and senior leaders across the organization. Demonstrated track-record of seamlessly managing and reconciling event budgets of $3M plus is a requirement. Event experience is highly desired as this role will have zero ramp up time given 8 week timeline until first event.
