Our client is looking for a Event Planner/Manager. The ideal talent would be responsible for but not limited to:

• Work with team to understand the purpose, objectives and context of a specific list of internal and external events. Serve as the primary contacts for any events they lead.
• Become familiar with strategic and tactical plan, including messaging.
• Offer suggestions to the team leads for strengthening the event within the scope of its objectives, budget and our overall messaging and brand.
• Develop a detailed written plan to execute the event, including a detailed estimated budget, timeline, clear chart of accountabilities, and any logistical needs.
• Gain approval for the plan from the Strategic Positioning and Promotions team. Final approval for the budget for each event will need to come from the SP & P chair.
• Recommend logistical resources to execute the event plans. If approved by the SP & P team, oversee the logistical resources to ensure they execute the events according to plan. Personally attend key events to oversee and serve as point of contact for the logistical resource.
• Participate in scheduled meetings with the team leads and the SP & P task force as requested. At these meetings, provide progress updates on execution of the plans for each assigned event, highlighting and potential difficulties, conflicts or late-breaking opportunities and offering recommendations for resolution.
• Document progress on the plan in the Sharepoint tactical planning tool.

• Supported by internal brand and production resources, ensure all communications are consistent with the brand in terms of tone, manner, and messaging. Counsel managers and staff as needed with brand compliance, helping them access appropriate resources.
• Ensure all communications are consistent with regulatory and compliance guidelines, including adherence to federal and state HIPAA consent rules for release of PHI and authorization to interview/photograph/videotape.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of Westside business strategy
• Leverage knowledge from multiple sources, including medical operations, marketing, internal communications, and other sources.
• Manage and complete multiple assignments in short time frames.
• Participate in communication meetings as directed by the SP & P chair or co-chair.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
