Our client, in the technology industry, is searching for an Event Coordinator/Planner. The role is a long term, ongoing contract with the chance to go perm for the right candidate. This is a full time position looking to go until December 2018, with the possibility of converting to perm. You will be responsible for managing their upcoming tradeshows and account based events from start to finish and researching future events they should sponsor/participate in. We're looking for someone who has experience with event coordination and tradeshow creation. We're looking for an energetic, detail oriented event coordinator to join our team!
Maintain, update and own Content calendar
Work with Copy Writer’s on info that needs to be updated
Main point of contact for speakers
Ensures speakers have submitted headshot/bio.
Scheduling dry run, writing blogs & working with social media person to post
Managing travel for internal employees (flights/site transfers/shuttles)
Work directly with Concur (travel booking system) to make arrangements via phone and tool
Make sure blogs are posted/updated
Internal promotion of event(s)
