Our client is seeking an Events Coordinator Consultant to focus on planning and executing a series of 7-10 corporate events and forums for Health Care Professional leadership teams. This individual will be responsible for supporting the event planning, project management, budgets and tracking deliverables. This role will also provide administrative support to the Events Marketing team by managing invoices, meeting coordination, contract reviews, and sourcing etc. Candidates should bring demonstrated success in a corporate events planning role navigating a large, matrixed organization with a high level of professionalism. Ability to take direction, problem solve, maintain flexibility and effectively multitask will also be key. This person must also have strong written/verbal skills, be extremely detail-oriented, and possess significant experience working with Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Word, Excel and Outlook). This Consultant role is anticipated to be a 3-6 month contract, and the hours will vary from part-time to full-time depending on the project needs.

Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate event components: food & beverage, audio visual, meeting space layout, meeting collateral production and shipping etc.
- Assist with managing attendee registration & communication
-Lead all production service administration activities for existing and new clients/projects, including creation and tracking of budgets/costings and schedules
-Manage and support strong working relationships with vendors and venues
-Manage project plans, following up on details and holding stakeholders responsible to successfully execute events within given timelines

- Effectively communicate with team members and other internal departments to ensure all stakeholders are kept up to date throughout the planning process
