Event Coordinator

Our client, a leader in automation technology, is seeking an Event Coordinator to manage event logistics through coordination, managing deadlines and cross-functional communication.

Deliverables:

  • A system to manage all events will be created and executed, then shared appropriately with staff in order to increase participation.
  • All third party event deadlines will be met in order to have maximum exposure at each event.
  • Attendance at 5-10 tradeshows per year.


  • Requirements:
  • Proven experience managing a high volume of events.
  • Must be able to plan out work tied to a timeline, prioritize and use resources efficiently.
  • Attention to Detail - Review own work for accuracy, create and follows procedures, and organize work effectively.
  • Initiative - Prepare in advance, identify work and moves projects forward.
  • Problem Solving/Critical Thinking - Ability to use logic and honest analysis to diagnose the cause of the problem, learns from past mistakes, analyze situations to guide actions.
  • Innovation - Look for creative approaches to work, challenge conventional practices, bring new ideas.
  • Communication/Listening - Clearly present ideas, actively listen, openly communicate, proactively inform others about impactful developments.
  • Teamwork and Collaboration - Considerate of others roles and opinions, build strong working relationships, adjust own interpersonal approach to fit others interpersonal style.
  • Results Driven - High standards and a sense of urgency when appropriate, set and achieve goals, accept responsibility.
  • Customer Focus - Anticipate and meet customers (employees) needs, deliver solutions and ensure customer satisfaction.
