Event Coordinator –we are recruiting for the 11 months PAYE assignment role for our Client-global leading social media portal. The role will pay between £14-£19 ph plus great perks and holiday entitlement. The offices are modern, cool and environment is fantastic, but you need to be ambitious, fast learning and a self-starter.
This role is responsible for coordinating global marketing events under the direction of the Global Event Manager - EMEA. The role will work with Event Managers to execute events and ensure client expectations are met. The role will coordinate various aspects of overall event production, which may include: sourcing venues, caterers, and production vendors; accurately forecast needs for promotional materials, catering, venues, and other event production needs; maintaining event registration lists and attendee communication. On–site event work and occasional travel is required.
After a few months in a team you would have an opportunity to run some of the events yourself.
You will be:
Coordinating internal and external meetings
Maintaining spread-sheets, contacts, distribution lists, etc
Ensuring and maintaining confidentiality of all appropriate communications and documentation
Communicating daily with internal and external customers, prospects, partners, and vendors while exhibiting the highest degree of professionalism, courtesy and diplomacy
Tracking and prioritising communication with the steak-holders and participants
You need to demonstrate:
Excellent computer skills and comprehension of Outlook
organisation skills and detail focus
Ability to prioritize multiple assignments
Customer service and problem solving skills
Would be nice if you have:
Experience working in the events industry, tech event experience preferred
Excellent communication skills with internal and external partners
Ability to prioritize and meet deadlines in a fast paced environment
Ability to multi-task and change direction quickly
