Event Coordinator

Aquent's client, a large tech company headquartered in Mountain View, CA, is seeking an Event Coordinator for a 8–month assignment. This assignment does have the opportunity to become permanent.

In this position, you will be responsible for managing the logistics of all in-market workshops and events that the Online Partnerships & Development (OPD) team deliver across the region - this will include US, Canada and Latin America. You will ensure that the right attendees are invited to these events and provide ‘on the ground’ logistical support. You will need to be proactive, able to multi-task in a fast-paced environment, and be extremely organized. Additionally, you will be responsible for reporting on key metrics and tracking actual progress towards our workshops & events targets.

The client's growing user base provides unique challenges and new responsibilities everyday. Fast-paced, dynamic and proactive, the Online Partnerships & Development team proactively empowers and inspires up and coming creators across the world via 1:1 consultations and in-market workshops & events.

Main Responsibilities:
- Contribute to the workshops & events strategy.
- Assist 25+ Online Partner Managers with organizing and running successful workshops & events.
- Manage the creator outreach process that ensures events & workshop attendance goals are met.
- Ensure the right creators are invited to our events using salesforce.com

Responsibilities:
- Remote management of venues & liaise with local client offices
- Ensure post-event metrics are captured using salesforce.com

Required Skills:
- 2+ years of experience in Event Coordination
- Fluency in English is required
- Additional fluency in Spanish OR Portuguese is required (at least one of the languages)
- 2+ years in Project management experience - ability to manage multiple projects and tasks
- Events management experience
- Precision and attention to detail
- An understanding of how social media works (particularly Twitter). Responsible for updating posts and gathering feedback


Nice to Have:
- Bachelors degree
- Experience with CRM systems (e.g salesforce.com)
- Some graphic design experience (no portfolio is needed)
