Enterprise Community Specialist - Jive

Jive is all about the 3 Cs: conversations, connections, and collaboration. Play a major role in introducing and growing this online network, built to support internal communities of practice and innovation. You’ll be responsible for the ongoing management of the site and communities, working with the program manager and community managers to mature the site and progress its usage. This is a great opportunity to get in on the ground floor of this exciting new initiative.

Responsibilities:
• Develop methodology for the launch and growth of the community strategy
• Evangelize and educate company on the value and use of online social communities
• With the program manager, lead the integration of content into the community from existing corporate sites
• With the technology director, develop integration points with existing applications and improvements to the user interface
• Coordinate acceptance testing with all communities
• Coordinate the development and delivery of new content for the community site
• Act as 'go-to' person for onboarding new strategic communities
• Lead the champions group by providing orientation, mentorship, and support
• Monitor adoption activity and ensure action is taken when activity is below expectations
• Manage the help/about space content and monitor and answer questions as they arise
• Seed and develop best practice materials about using the community
• Monitor communities, encourage membership, facilitate discussions, and coordinate the application of governance standards with individual community managers
• Flag to senior management online discussions or inquiries that should receive a response from the organization; respond accordingly
• Track and report on site activity; proactively offer solutions based on reporting

Requirements:
• 5+ years of experience working as a community manager
• Proven ability to engage and drive community activity and contribute to content
• 3+ years of experience using social media for business purposes
• Minimum of one year of experience with Jive (moderation, updating/refreshing content)
• Bachelor’s in marketing or a related field

Recommended Qualifications:
• Collaboration solutions, pre/post sales content, technology/products/content experience

This is a 6-month contract with the possibility of going full-time if all goes well.
