Employee Communications Writer

This position supports our client's Global Employee Communications Department in executing strategic and dynamic employee communications programs that will enable our client to achieve its goal of being the Employer of Choice in the industry.

This individual is the content manager for all digital communications efforts, serving as a key partner for Employee Communications colleagues and SMEs across the company to ensure frequent, transparent and impactful communications to the client's employees.
Responsible for posting all digital content within a coordinated calendar, and also editing others’ submissions to ensure a consistent voice and approach. As needed, he/she will also generate original stories to fill the content pipeline for the intranet.

The successful candidate will understand changing employee communications trends, practices and principles in employee communications, and have a depth of experience in generating and managing digital content.

Role Responsibilities:
• Support Global Employee Communications colleagues in executing on internal business unit communications plans to help employees understand the goals, programs, processes, organizational structure and vision of their unit leader
• Be responsive to meet the digital communications needs within business units by procuring, creating and publishing digital content to the intranet and digital signage, and providing graphic design services
• Partner with colleagues driving external communications to share content and ensure message alignment and consistency – and to generate new content ideas
• Develop content on an ongoing basis for global employee intranet around business unit news, launches, organizational changes, employee spotlights
• Create/procure a steady stream of multi-media content that helps employees understand what is happening within their business unit and in the broader
organization (organizational updates, videos, presentations etc.)
• Create and manage a central repository for all media and copy related digital communications
• Manage an ongoing communications calendar
• Track results of intranet news content and maintain dashboard for sharing results
• Manage subject matter expert and vendor relationships
