Employee Communications Specialist

Develop and execute communication plans to support our global ERP implementation program.

Tasks and Responsibilities:

• Develop and execute plans for internal corporate-wide and/or department-specific

employee communications related to our ERP program

• Manage content for ERP program; weekly email, intranet site, weekly email newsletter.

• Provide counsel and tactical support to program workstreams on planning, development

and execution of employee communication

• Prepare materials for communication meetings, presentations, Q&As, articles,


• Manage, create, design and develop internal communications collateral

• Produce and direct corporate videos, including concept and script-writing

• Successfully present ideas and communications in a fresh and compelling way

• Successfully organize large events or initiatives such as management conferences or

road shows

• Able to juggle a number of tasks and priorities effort

• Plans work and includes audience segmentation, definition of messages and channel

selection as well as making clear links back to business objectives

• Delivers projects or activities within defined resources

Preferred Educational Background:

• Bachelor's degree in public relations, journalism, communications, marketing or related


Preferred Experiential Background:

• Experience working within a large program team to implement large scale change and


• Three to five years of employee/organizational communication, PR or marketing

communications experience

• Strong oral and written communication skills and knowledge of AP writing style and an

ability to bring life to technical subjects

• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously with tact and diplomacy

• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work well with a wide range of people in a

fast-paced environment

• Experience in a corporate environment with employee communications, a plus

• Ability to interface with employees at all levels within the organization and establish

strong client relationships

• Experience writing and editing articles and publications

• Experience working with video production crews and designers, either in-house or


• Strong computer skills including PowerPoint and web publishing/content management

programs, as well as graphic design programs desired

• Knowledge and interest of communications trends a plus
