Email Project Manager

The Project Manager is the key liaison between the client and the Program managers and client service teams acting to coordinate the efforts of various technical, production and creative resources. The Project Manager manages multiple projects, project related client communication and coordination of internal resources to ensure on-time on-budget delivery of projects.

Role/Responsibilities:
• Manage technical projects end-to-end for a specific client
• Work closely with cross functional teams to understand the client's business requirements and how the requirements translate into an actionable project, including stages of scoping, specification writing, work execution, testing, etc.
• Budget projects (both in time and cost)
• Create project plans for both internal and external use
• Identify resource requirements and liaise closely with resource leads to get the job done
• Continually oversee project progress as it moves through different resource teams to ensure that it's on target
• Ensure appropriate standards of quality and responsiveness
• Manage supporting processes and documentation, eg, Statements of work, project plans, meeting minutes, change requests, etc.

Organizational/Industry:
• Provide recommendations and best practices around email marketing workflow/operations
• Maintain and build on current knowledge on emerging internet and email technologies and deliverability/ISP issues.
• Build a wealth of knowledge around the technical requirements for e-mail and be able to communicate requirements effectively to clients and internal staff
• Report and advise the Account team on project progress, identifying in advance any potential issues and recommended solutions
• Manage relevant project status meetings. Document meetings as required, distributing notes to client and internal team

Requirements:
• 7+ years Project Management Experience in medium complexity projects or sub projects of larger complexity projects.
• Understanding of PMI, standard PMI framework
• Ability to apply common project management process, methods, techniques and tools
• Agile or PMP certification (or similar) a plus
• Familiarity with Daptiv a plus
