Email Product Manager Wanted!

Large Family Entertainment Team is seeking a temporary email product manager to drive the development of the email program across our network of websites. You'll work with a large team of contributors across all disciplines and engage with multiple web products simultaneously to grow new communication streams and expand on existing ones. The successful candidate possesses strong project management skills, ability to think in terms of continuous optimization, and thrives in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:
· Work closely with marketing, design, editorial, and engineering teams to compile email product requirements
· Recommend solutions for combining email system (Exact Target) with in-house content management systems to solve business needs across multiple site email program
· Stay on top of email product development within the industry, including competitors, and use that information to help inform our roadmap
· Help develop and implement email product roadmap including writing requirements and user stories to be used in agile development process
· Prioritize development initiatives and manage the flow of in-bound product development requests across network
· Collaborate with other product and marketing managers to ensure that development and strategy initiatives align
· Test features to make sure that they’ve been developed according to the business requirements and product specs
· Drive product development on tight deadlines -- working closely with editorial, design, analytics, marketing, QA, and project management teams
· Review metrics that inform the success of the product and reporting those metrics back to stakeholders. (Knowledge of Omniture)
· Keep all stakeholders well-informed at all times

Experience
· Previous experience developing email products and knowledge of email systems
· Enthusiastic about email products and willingness to evangelize within the organization
· Knowledge of Exact Target, Wordpress, Drupal
· Knowledge of email content and marketing best practices
· Experience in managing aggressive and dynamic projects, with competing resources and priorities
· Strong sense of accountability and ownership for end to end product lifecycle with demonstrated ability to drive product planning, development and launch
· Interest in parenting, mom or family-oriented content a plus
