Email Marketing and CRM Specialist

Our top publishing client is looking to hire a marketing specialist with a focus on email and CRM campaigns. This a contract role with w-2 pay and benefits including medical, vision, dental, flexible spending accounts and a 401k.

This position is responsible for the day-to-day, hands-on execution of email marketing campaigns. This includes setup, maintenance, audience segmentation, and review of triggered/automated email messages. This position must maintain a current understanding of email marketing best practices and apply them to advise and improve email marketing efforts.

Responsibilities
· Performs day-to-day email marketing activities including, but not limited to, list segmentation, email campaign set-up, scheduling, testing, deployment, and post campaign analysis and reporting.
· Oversee, manage and optimize multiple one-time, recurring, triggered, and dynamic content-driven email campaigns.
· Segment and maintain the health of the contact list based on customer behaviors and personas.
· Work to improve retention, engagement, open rate, CTR, and other important KPIs.
· Help to improve conversion rate to generate more sales leadsRequirements
· Proficiency in email marketing automation and advanced segmentation
· Deep understanding of email marketing concepts and KPIs
· Experience with testing strategies to continuously improve email and program results
· 2-5 years experience with email marketing and automation (ExactTarget, Pardot, etc.)
· Web analytics (Google/Adobe Analytics) experience preferred
· Ability to provide clear and precise reporting to stakeholders
· Excellent time management, organization, and prioritization skills required to handle multiple projects simultaneously
