Email Marketing Specialist

Our client is seeking the right individual to fill an immediate need for an Email Marketing Specialist. This is a contract-to-hire position.

If you have a love of building customer segments that drive targeted messaging to consumers, coupled with an interest in contributing directly to the bottom line of a 100 million dollar + organization, this is the position for you!

As an Email Marketing Specialist, you will:

• Audit current email marketing efforts and recommend strategies that will help grow and improve existing email programs
o Segmentation audit - analyzing current and missed opportunities for segmenting email database to optimize performance
o Triggered email audit - identifying current efforts and missed opportunities to optimize performance
o Email database audit - identifying data gaps and overall hygiene of the in-house email list
o Tracking audit – ensure emails are tracking all relevant parameters
• Develop and implement personalized, triggered email strategy for multiple audiences, including installers, manufacturers and customers
• Manage monthly email calendar
• Manage unsubscribes and non-deliverable email addresses
• Create email reporting dashboards and custom reports analyzing campaign performance in order to provide actionable recommendations and deliver continuous improvements to our email program
• Champion continuous advancement of our email features and capabilities including targeting, personalization, and template development in collaboration with multiple stakeholders: programmers, designers, marketing managers and more.
• Conduct quality assurance testing on email messages; ensure links, images, subject lines, and segmentation lists function properly; verification that rendering is accurate across various email clients and ISP’s

Desired Skills and Experience

A successful associate will have a strong interest in social media marketing and be goal oriented, self-motivated and able to meet deadlines, build relationships and enjoy a team atmosphere.

• BA/BS Degree in Related Field
• 2+ years of hands-on email marketing experience, including strategy, coding, implementation, analytics and reporting
• Knowledge of best practices for email creative and templates, segmentation, dynamic content, testing methodologies, deliverability, list growth, etc.
• Experience working with sophisticated email delivery tools (ESP’s and Marketing Automation Platforms), including API integrations with ESP’s to enable triggered messages, dynamic content and marketing automation
• Experience with rapid A/B testing and experimentation to identify highest performing customer segments, offers, campaigns verses controls
• Familiarity with CAN SPAM regulations
• Strong project management skills: experience coordinating cross-functional teams, delivering results and meeting deadlines
