Email Marketing Specialist

The Email Marketing specialist will focus on email campaign set-up, testing, and reporting.


ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

• Consults with team to evaluate individual project needs.
• Implementation and execution of email marketing programs
• Support and coordinate marketing campaign automation and associated tasks such as implementing, UAT and executing marketing campaigns and software.
• Implement and test email marketing automation
• Thoroughly validate functionality and appearance cross devices, clients and browsers.
• Plan and execute emails test and reports results.
• Provide email campaign metrics
• Assist and support QA as necessary
• Troubleshoot issues with email programs.
• Completes assigned projects within scheduled time frame.
• All other projects and duties as assigned.


KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:

EDUCATION:
• Four year college degree Marketing or equivalent experience with demonstrated proficiency

EXPERIENCE:
• 1-3 years working with Exact Target programs
• 1-3 years experience with CRM system and data warehousing. Siebel and OBIEE are preferred.
• Experience with Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC)
• Knowledge of marketing concepts, customer databases, and campaign management software.


SKILLS:
• Strong MS Office – Word, Excel, and Outlook
• Proficient in HTML, CSS
• Knowledge of the principles, practices and procedures of user acceptance testing and the ability to apply knowledge and skills to a range of professional assignments including the most difficult and complex
• Ability to independently analyze data, identify discrepancies and inconsistencies and recommend a course of corrective action
• Strong analytical thinking and problem solving skills
• Ability to manage multiple projects and adapt to changing priorities
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, team–oriented work environment
• Keen attention to detail
• Ability to work with minimal supervision and demonstrate initiative and good judgment

WORKING RELATIONSHIPS:
• Interacts with customers (internal and external) at all levels or organization.
• Proactively partners with other departments to provide information and feedback, analyze reports for continuous improvement and resolve issues.

ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS:
• Occasional local and regional travel may be required.
