Email Marketing Specialist

Our client, a large financial institution located in Northern Virginia is seeking an email marketing specialist to assist with planning, identification, development and implementation of opportunities and solutions that maximizes the effective utilization of email channels to support client marketing efforts. To collaborate with Corporate Marketing Representatives and advocates to stakeholders the positive impact of e-mail marketing in campaigns and other communications initiatives. To provide input to section and department in planning efforts to create the channel plan and strategy.

· Serve as a point of contact for Manager, E-Mail Marketing and Corporate Marketing Representatives on assigned product level email marketing initiatives
· Translate the email marketing channel plan and strategy into workflow production steps to manage the process to generate and deliver content in accordance with the email marketing calendar
· Monitor, coordinate, and respond to requests and queries regarding the status and other aspects of email campaigns
· Conduct quality control reviews throughout the campaign life cycle to ensure deadlines and process steps are executed on-time and without error
· Assist in development of email marketing campaign objectives, maintenance of corporate marketing standards, and ensure email initiatives are on schedule, accurate and consistent
· Lead small initiatives or participate in portions of large/complex scoped marketing projects with guidance from senior staff and/or management
· Provide guidance to Corporate Marketing Representatives in tracking the status of ongoing email campaigns and advise them of solutions to resolve scheduling conflicts or other impending issues
· Collaborate with Member Research & Intelligence (MRID) and Product Marketing to compile, integrate and summarize data and key performance indicators useful in creating email campaign strategies to improve business results
· Provide insights/recommendations on process improvements to email marketing
· Summarize and provide feedback from campaign results and lessons learned to the creative team to improve/apply in future campaign designs
· Maintain the email marketing channel calendar to ensure content distribution levels are maintained in accordance with CAN-SPAM/anti-spam regulations
· Maintain a thorough knowledge of client's products and services ad familiarity with client goals and business objectives, trends within the financial services and email marketing industries, and related regulations and compliance
· Apply marketing and advertising best practices, principles, and industry trends to ensure effective processes and quality controls are integrated in e-mail campaigns
· Performs other related duties as assigned or appropriate
