Aquent is looking for an Email Marketing Specialist for a large retail client in Orange County with at least 2 years experience.
The main objective of the Email Marketing Specialist position is to plan, develop, and execute day-to-day marketing campaigns through email for our domestic US market. This position will collaborate with cross-functional divisions in eCommerce, retail, wholesale, and creative to guide the development and execution of emails. It provides a great opportunity in direct marketing to drive company growth, help enhance CRM initiatives, and further customer engagement and loyalty. Position reports to the Director of Loyalty and Retention.

Responsibilities:
• Coordinate day-to-day email marketing program

-Need someone who can cut HTML and is able to produce and deploy HTML email in ExactTarget UI

o Production of all business unit and ad hoc email campaigns, including asset allocation, completing CRF, implementing Coremetrics tracking, proofing and Q&A by collaborating with our full service ESP, ExactTarget.
o Support production of the weekly and/or monthly segmented campaigns.
o Assist in monitoring, tracking and reporting on all email marketing campaigns.
o Manage and update the email marketing calendar to ensure that all plans are in conjunction with creative, products, and the organization’s (eCommerce, retail, and wholesale) marketing efforts and deadlines.
o Ensure email campaigns are accurate, approved and deployed on per pre-determined date and time.
• Manage reports and metrics
o Analyze data and track email metrics.
o Pull reports and organize data to provide explanations of previous and current campaigns.
o Attend weekly eCommerce business meetings to understand current web performance and provide insight to any correlation between site and email metrics/trend.
o Provide high level weekly reports to managers and directors.
o Provide monthly reports to Consumer Experience team and share any learning through executions of email tests.
Candidate Profile:

We seek a highly organized, detail-oriented, analytical, and fast learner with previous experience in email marketing.

Desired Skills and Experience:

• Possess outstanding ability to learn quickly, execute swiftly and accurately.
• Knowledge of key email fundamentals; can spam compliance, deliverability, spam complaint rates, A/B split testing, etc.
• Ability to report on email metrics and analyze data.
• Demonstrates excellent judgment and organizational ability.
• Ability to multi-task and work in a collaborative and fast-paced environment.
• Strong interpersonal skills – able to and enjoys working across multiple business units and functional areas to achieve goals.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Experience with ExactTarget Enterprise level email marketing platform and Coremetrics Analytics is a significant plus.
• 2+ years of email marketing experience.
