Our client is hiring an Email Marketing Specialist to join their team on a temp to hire basis! The role sits onsite in their Radnor office and is 40 hrs/week. Requirements: > Marketo experience is a requirement // other marketing automation MAY be considered (Eloqua, ExactTarget, etc) > hands on experience using email / email marketing communications > good technical understanding of latest tools for email communication > able to be collaborative with other teams > create emails within Marketo and program them / schedule them to be executed (they don’t design them or write them — they have teams for this) > also do the analysis and reporting on the emails for that month and present internally > this person doesn’t necessarily have to have HTML experience they can manage graphics / copy in Marketo > maintain calendar of events / email schedule (thus far this year they’ve sent over 1.5MM emails) for sales team emails, into the copy queue and design queue *Would love someone to have a sense of the technology at a higher level (at least conceptually how the email talks to the CRM system) *Project Management Skills / Account Management skills since this person is running projects from start to finish — it’s important to understand where each email is in the creation lifecycle *Being able to manage projects from start to end (they’re fast-paced and everyone works together to get the job done — working with designers, copywriters, sales, marketing, legal) *being able to communicate peer-to-peer and at the executive level is important for this role ----------------------------------------------------- FULL DESCRIPTION: Essential Duties and Responsibilities · Create an email marketing strategy that furthers business goals and can be measured. · Manage the design and implementation of a wide range of email campaigns, including working collaboratively on list management and creative as well as technical development, metrics design, testing, execution, tracking and refinement · Optimize emails for deliverability, mobile rendering, open rates, etc.. Q/A all versions of each email campaign, including rendering and testing · Understand the behaviors and trends of key customer segments and garner insights that are actionable. Conduct analysis of results and develop test plans to continuously improve email performance · Work cross-functionally with the Business Development, IT, and Marketing Creative teams to manage and execute all emails · Define and evangelize email best practices as well as provide formal recommendation on third party automation tools Education and Experience Requirements: · Proven foundation of email best practices and broad understanding of digital marketing principles to ensure email messages are properly constructed to meet industry standards · Experience with email marketing platforms (Marketo, Eloqua, ExactTarget). As well as familiarity with marketing capabilities of crm platforms (SugarCRM, SFDC). · Google Analytics and/or other web analytics experience is a plus · Experience in b2b environment at mortgage, insurance or financial services institutions a plus. Knowledge, Skill and Ability Requirements: · 3+ years hands-on experience with the design and management of high-volume volume email campaigns and metrics · Experience with best practices in email messaging, email technology, HTML, delivery strategies, service providers, list management, and spam regulations. · Ability to work a wide range of project types, from strategy, to process and metrics definition, to hands-on campaign management · Proficient with Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
