Email Marketing Specialist

Our client is looking for an Email Marketing Specialist. This person can work remotely, but must be available for East Coast Business Hours.

Primary duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:

Email Marketing:

Build, test and deploy email campaigns, verifying copy, layout, links, and dynamic content as well as assessing and addressing any spam risks;

Conduct quality assurance reviews and delivery testing to ensure the accuracy of email deployments, as well as monitor the campaign post-deployment to validate completion;

Troubleshoot technical issues and consult with IT or vendor technical support to implement solutions;Manage relationships with marketing automation and deliverability vendors;

Analyze email program performance metrics; provide recommendations to improve campaign effectiveness;

Work with Database Marketing team to establish list and data hygiene plan, including development of reporting to proactively identify potential issues;

Identify systems optimizations to drive efficiencies and enable the execution of strategic business plans.

Additional Requirements:

Experience building and deploying email campaigns using ESP/marketing automation tools (Sharpsrpring, Marketo, Eloqua, Exact Target);

Intermediate knowledge in HTML, CSS;Strong data manipulation and analytic skills, strong knowledge of Excel;Strong knowledge of best practices for email creative, segmentation, dynamic content, testing methodologies, deliverability and CAN-SPAM regulations; and

Ability to analyze and report on technical issues.
