LOCATION: San Francisco
CONTRACT: 1 year | Mon-Fri | 40 hours/week
PAY: $30-$40/hour (based on experience)
The Email Specialist will play a critical role in the execution of all US and CDA emails for the Online Retail Team, and will report to the Email Marketing Manager.
Key Job Responsibilities
♣ Lead for email QA for daily US and CDA emails; ensure flawless and timely execution.
♣ Partner with internal production and design team to ensure accurate delivery of email creative.
♣ Ensure all marketing emails provide the best, most intuitive customer experience.
♣ Review creative against marketing strategy and provide effective, clear feedback to internal partners.
♣ Act as a daily marketing liaison with Email Vendor, ExactTarget.
♣ Brainstorm and generate new and innovative ideas for future email messages.
♣ Track competitive emails and develop actionable insights.
♣ Partner with CEM on email circulation approval and file management.
♣ Maintain deep knowledge of customer data flow.
Reporting & Analysis
♣ Hindsight email performance (weekly, quarterly, and ad-hoc).
♣ Maintain back-end reporting and analyze data at a granular level.
♣ Summarize results concisely and report out key metrics and learnings.
Key organizational relationships
CRM, Email Vendor, Site Marketing, Creative, Copy, Production
Qualifications / Leadership Skills Needed
♣ Passion for the retail/fashion industry.
♣ Hands on email experience required. Background in online retail industry preferred.
♣ Excellent project management skills and ability to work in fast-paced, ambiguous environments.
♣ Proven ability to work effectively independently and as a team player.
♣ Excellent written and oral communication skills.
♣ Detail-oriented, analytical, and data-driven with expertise in Excel.
♣ Experience with online reporting (ex: Omniture), ExactTarget, and CRM a plus.
♣ 1-2 years of relevant marketing experience.
