Email Marketing Project Manager

The Email Marketing Contractor, in our Consumer Relationship Marketing (CRM) group contributes to large scale North American projects in an industry-leading CRM program. Our client's CRM program exists to deepen engagement with our most valuable consumers to increase loyalty and drive purchase. CRM is considered a shared service within the organization that provides valuable and best-in-class marketing assets to help brands enhance their marketing efforts and help them meet their business goals.

The ideal candidate brings strong consumer marketing skills coupled with a deep knowledge of email marketing as well as a proven track record of managing email/online initiatives from project inception to launch. A strong drive for results, proven project management skills and the ability to manage both creative and technical agencies are essential.

Responsibilities include:

  • Lead the tactical execution of multiple email programs across CRM portfolio including:
  • Recipes by Email US-GM, US-Hisp, CAN
  • Make Tonight Delicious-US-GM, CAN
  • Brand Stand-Alone emails US-GM, US-Hisp, CAN


    More specific day-to-day responsibilities include:
  • Work with agency and internal team to ensure weekly email concepts and content priorities are translated into executable email plans.
  • Lead agencies in effectively executing against plan.
  • For brand stand-alone emails, work closely with agency and key internal contributors to build a comprehensive and effective brief.
  • Proof all emails prior to deployment to ensure flawless execution.
  • Review monthly email metrics and ensure content insights are shared with broader team.

    Experience requirements
  • 1-3 years email marketing management experience.
  • 3-5 years consumer marketing experience required
  • Technical savvy and experience to understand infrastructure and data essential to delivering email marketing consumer experiences.

  • Good understanding and proven ability to translate email metrics into actionable tactics.
  • Action-oriented with a strong drive for results.
