Email Marketing Project Manager

The Email Marketing Project Manager will oversee content management for client owned channels and work as the channel Manager for .com, CNS, Product Emails, and Loyalty Emails. This role will work closely with internal partners: Advertising, Product (Business Owners), Legal, Customer Advocacy, Marketing Communications, and Sale Planning to ensure efficient and consistent use of creative assets. Projects may include: manage weekly calendar for .com home page, CNS weekly emails, IAN, Loyalty and Various Partner emails.

JOB SKILLS:
• 3-5 years of experience in project management or content development for digital channels.
• Have proven knowledge of the content design, production, and workflow processes.
• Excellent organization and communication skills.
• Ability to prioritize effectively, make sound decisions and reinforce decisions.
• Experience with Content Management Systems.
• Solid understanding of quality assurance best practices.
• Have proven experience managing multiple projects with multiple clients and deadlines.
• Knowledgeable with email marketing, data pulls and email development.
• Key Communicator: conduct weekly status meetings, kickoffs and provide follow up email
• Thought leadership: insight into testing, it’s variables and the impact it may have on current email
• Contribute to creative ideation and marketing strategy development for digital channels.
• Product owners for all .com initiatives, and content gathers for all emails.
• Ability to work effectively independently as well as with a team.
• Attention to detail.
• Ability to positively influence, inspire and lead others cross-functionally.
• Demonstrate strong interpersonal skills.
• Fluency in Excel, Word, Microsoft Project and PowerPoint.
• Able to gather and communicate business requirements- i.e. audience segmentations, versioning
• Ideal candidates will have some experience as a Business Analyst or PM in a technology role

This role is not responsible for:
• Strategy behind messaging or email calendar management.
• Full copywriting responsibilities.
• Corporate Sales, PreTrip or Confirmation Email Calendars
• Placement priorities- this should come from Marcom/Merchandising
• Content / Placement analytics- Optimization / Merchandising Team to manage communications to all Business Owners.
