Email Marketing Manager

hands-on execution of email marketing programs in support of company and business unit objectives. You will be joining a highly collaborative growing digital marketing team

Email Marketing Key Responsibilities

• Perform day-to-day email marketing activities
• Forge a strong email marketing process which aligns with all elements of the business
• Managing the end-to-end process of all email marketing communications across all brands within the business
• Strong direction on creative design and input, inclusive of layout and copy, based upon benchmarks and industry metrics
• Closely monitoring email budget and maintaining email master schedule
• Communicate effectively with the marketing team and management to ensure understanding of processes, campaign status and requirements
• Implement and manage email marketing programmes with a vision to assess current communication roadmap and email platform appraisal
• Understand the changing email marketing landscape with a focus on maintaining industry knowledge
• Stay abreast of and recommend email marketing best practices with a thorough knowledge of current legal implications (data and privacy laws, Spam Act etc)
• Communicate, educate and provide guidance on the marketing channel in order to inform all stakeholders
• Facilitation of timely and accurate delivery of campaign data to support email marketing campaigns
• Ensure the organisation has a solid understanding of customers and the market through the use of analytics and modeling in order to identify market opportunities.
• Enforce annual compliance training with all direct reports when required or instructed.

Key Skills required

• 3-5 years experience within a similar email marketing centric role
• Marketing or Marketing-related Tertiary qualification
• Strong technical background with key skills including: HTML, coding, writing queries, with an ability to troubleshoot to relevant parties
• Thorough knowledge of email marketing systems e.g. CRM, campaign management tools, CMS and more
• High level understanding of database segmentation and ability to implement innovative strategies which would align with current retail initiatives
• Strong analytical skills with ability to draw insights and learnings for future campaigns and email marketing direction
• Strong communication and organisational skills
• Ability to set priorities, accomplish objectives in a timely manner and manage several projects at once
• Ability to work in a team environment
• Accuracy and strong attention to detail
• Strong written and verbal skills
• Strong reporting and analytical skills
