Email Marketing Manager

Our fashion forward ecommerce client is looking for a talented, smart, entrepreneurial and analytical Email Marketing Manager to join the marketing team in New York City.

Primary responsibilities:
- Manage email marketing campaigns end-to-end, including planning, targeting, set-up, testing, execution, reporting and optimization.
- Create email reporting dashboards and custom reports analyzing campaign performance in order to provide actionable recommendations and deliver continuous improvements to our email program.
- Champion continuous advancement of our email features and capabilities including targeting, personalization, template development in collaboration with multiple stakeholders: development teams, designers, business teams and more.
- Stay current with best practices, strategies, and industry standards related to email.

Basic Qualifications
- BA/BS Degree
- 2+ years of email marketing experience, including strategy, implementation, analytics and reporting. Knowledge of best practices for email creative and templates, segmentation, dynamic content, testing methodologies.
- Strong knowledge of Excel and HTML and ability to learn technical systems and in-house tools quickly.
- Strong project management skills: experience coordinating cross-functional teams, delivering results and meeting tight deadlines

Preferred Qualifications
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
- Knowledge of additional analytical and database tools (eg SQL, Access) a strong plus
- Experience in fashion, retail, e-commerce or daily deals / flash sales
- Familiarity with planning, implementing and analyzing online marketing initiatives across multiple online channels
- Experience designing and executing online customer experiences and / or implementing online marketing programs
