Email Marketing Manager

The Email Marketing Specialist is responsible for managing customer engagement and driving sales
growth through the email marketing channel. The position is responsible for managing all aspects
of email marketing, including: acquisition and file management; campaign management and sales
forecasting; testing and optimization; deployment; and analytics and reporting. Responsibilities include
driving innovation in the email marketing program through development of advanced email strategies,
such as preference center, segmentation, and dynamic content.

Responsibilities:

Manage email campaigns and forecasting
Management of email calendar
Work with Creative and Branding team on email content strategy and develop creative briefs
High-level of collaboration with Brand Marketing and Online Marketing teams to ensure email
marketing campaigns are effectively supporting the business
Drive innovation in email marketing program through development of advanced email
strategies, such as preference center, segmentation, dynamic content, and new email types (e.g.
new triggered email, new promotional email, new e-newsletters).
Compile competitive benchmarking, best practices, new technology, and vendor capabilities and
identify opportunities to improve performance
Optimize email marketing channel through frequent and ongoing testing and analysis. Develop
test calendar with input from stakeholders. Report regularly to management.
Deployment for all email communications, programs, and channels.
Drive measurement, analysis, and reporting for email marketing program.

Requirements:

Knowledge of email marketing.
Marketing experience, and ability to identify consumer needs/wants to drive email content
strategy and develop a compelling value proposition to drive email acquisition.
Strong analytic skills, including experience with attribution methodologies and analytics
software
Strong technical skills. (HTML experience is a plus.)
High attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
Ability to efficiently and effectively self-direct and prioritize work.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Project management skills with the ability to lead cross-functional teams.

Ability to operate on both strategic and tactical levels.
Ability to present to Senior Level Management in a professional, articulate manner.
