**This Email Marketing Manager role can sit in either Charlotte, NC or Wilmington, DE**

Our client is a large financial institution and they are looking for an Email Marketing Manager to join their team for a 7+ month contract. This Email Marketing Manager role can sit in either Charlotte, NC or Wilmington, DE and is 40 hours a week, health benefits and 401K offered.

The Email Marketing Manager role is responsible for executing marketing and service campaigns within the Email Channel. The Email Marketing Manager will manage the execution of campaigns and project work as well as think strategically in a highly regulated, political, and visible channel. The Email Marketing Manager should be able to work independently and in large group settings, as well as handle multiple assignments concurrently and will also be responsible for reviewing, managing, and fulfilling time sensitive compliance information.

Email Marketing Manager Responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:

• Flawless execution of email campaigns supporting numerous enterprise-wide products

• Maintain routines for adhering to and optimizing the existing channel management process

• Follow reporting processes to review the performance of campaigns and analyze how they compare to channel goals

• Identify opportunities for improvements and optimization with on-going and new campaigns and work collaboratively on new solutions

• Influence business partners in order to position campaigns so they align with the Email Channel team’s strategy and best practices

• Partner with Production, Production Support, Program Managers, Lines of Business, Compliance/Privacy/Risk/Legal, Technology, Enterprise Optimization, Campaign Operations, Analytics and reporting team members as well as Leadership Team

• Lead special projects that will enhance channel capabilities and sales opportunities (e.g. testing, mobile optimization, speed to market, capacity, reporting, procedural, documentation, etc.)

• Work closely with the creative agency and email vendor to align campaigns and projects and to ensure best practices are followed

• Work on cross-channel opportunities for campaigns and other projects

Email Marketing Manager Requirements:

- Bachelor degree required

- Project and relationship management experience

- Directly relevant email experience preferred, but other relevant digital marketing experience will be considered as well

- Experience with Exact Target (or other email platforms) a plus, but not mandatory

- Experience optimizing within eCommerce – specifically Email Marketing

The Email Marketing Manager should be able to work well independently and in large group settings, as well as handle multiple assignments simultaneously.

- Must have excellent organizational, analytical, verbal, and written skills

- Experience in campaign test structures, campaign performance analysis, and reporting

- Experience with CRM: knowledge of and project management

- Considered by others as a self-starter who shows initiative and drives for results

- Track record of influencing others through the use of objective data-based analysis

- Proven ability to assess challenges and act decisively to identify solutions quickly and effectively

- Demonstrated ability to identify opportunities for innovation and continuous improvement

- Ability to communicate challenges and successes clearly and crisply

- Ability to foster relationships

- Ability to grasp strategic concepts (the big picture) and subsequently act upon them

- Proficient in MS Office Products – especially Excel and PowerPoint
