Email Marketing Manager

Responsibilities:
Run all aspects of the Email channel – people, technology, budget, campaigns and reporting
Lead our in-house design and technology teams to create, test, deploy, analyze and report on all campaigns
Collaborate with External Partners to execute email initiatives and ensure optimized campaign deliverability and performance
Develop and execute long-term strategies that improve new customer acquisitions, customer engagement and retention
Analyze email and digital campaigns, develop performance reports showing metrics and trends, and adapt strategy/tactics based on real-time information
External:
Work with 3rd party retailers with lead lists - create campaigns based on lists - biggest piece of the business - still requires technical understanding, analyzing, etc. Volume of this could grow, nature of work is easier to manage. Continuously be scanning and approving, campaign management,

Internal:
Banks credit card issuers, have current lead lists - coming to Bulldog to manage those leads. Volume is far smaller - more technical, manage lists, the segments, analysis, etc.

Website: drive registrations, users, message users with content

Required Qualifications & Experience
5+ years of email marketing management / acquisition marketing experience
Strong analytical skills
Excellent project management/organizational skills and a “hands-on” approach
Proven success measuring, analyzing, and enhancing email marketing campaigns
Experience in A/B testing and other campaign optimization strategies

Desired Characteristics & Fit
Strong technical understanding of email marketing – ie inbox deliverability, data management, attrition management
