Email Marketing Manager

Our tech client is looking for an experienced email marketer to manage their email program. This person will work on email strategy, write and design campaigns, manage our subscriber list, and measure the results of their campaigns. The email marketing manager will be expected to help us grow their list, target subscribers with relevant content, improve our campaigns with every send, and, most importantly, help us increase MQL and sales.

The right candidate has experience sending marketing campaigns through an email service provider using a marketing automation tool. They know about email marketing best practices and spam laws. They’re a multitasker who thrives in a hypercompetitive industry and likes the creative side as well as the analytic parts of email.

So if you have the ability to get the right emails into the right inboxes at the right times, then this is the job for you.

Responsibilities:

Work to get the right emails into the right inboxes at the right times. Work to drive open and click-through rates higher and higher.
Grow their email list organically, not through bought or rented lists.
Manage various email campaigns, including the template designs, calls-to-action, and content used in their email sends.
Segment lists based on behaviors like past email engagement and website interactions (content downloads, site page visits, etc.).
Measure results and optimize the lead nurturing workflows for these segments to convert leads into customers.
Key metrics will include measuring open and click-through rates, and conversion rates to MQLs
Work to minimize unsubscribes while increasing the productivity of their email sends.
Develop improved processes, A/B tests, and promotions that succeed through email.


Requirements:

BA/BS or equivalent working experience.
Pardot experience is a must!
6+ Years of marketing experience in a B2B technology company
Expertise with email marketing, lead nurturing, marketing automation, and web analytics. Proficiency in email marketing and marketing automation technology including Pardot.
Excellent understanding of email marketing concepts and metrics such as Sender Score, deliverability, open rates, conversion rates, etc
Highly analytical and able to derive meaning from data through A/B testing and email optimization.
Be metric driven
Excellent writer and communicator
