Aquent's Fortune500 client in Woonsocket, RI is looking for an Email Marketing Coordinator for a 12 month + assignment (40/hrs 5 days, on site) with potential to extend beyond.
This Email Marketing Coordinator’s primary responsibilities will be primarily related to email. The focus is on email production and project management with additional opportunity to support strategic planning and development. The responsibilities include end-to-end execution of marketing campaigns to drive profitable customer engagement largely through email but also may include direct mail and other channels; management of production calendars; detailed and thorough proofing of email campaigns, reporting on campaign engagement metrics to assess program effectiveness, customer service reporting, and competitive and customer research.
This individual will be responsible for ensuring flawless campaign execution within our new platform. The ideal individual meets the following: - Rolling sleeves up to make sure multiple deadlines are met - Managing communications to achieve flawless execution of emails and possibly direct mail on time and on budget, including quality control, calendar maintenance, coupon set up, proofing and data requests - Executing campaigns, ensuring all messages are on brand with appropriate target audiences and versions - Supporting strategic recommendations and insights for email and possibly direct mail through engagement metrics reporting and key sales driving KPIs - Participating actively and becoming a thought leader for developing integrated email marketing strategies
Required qualifications of this Marketing Coordinator are: - 1-4 years of strong email or digital marketing experience - 1-3 years of project management (prior marketing or advertising experience is strongly preferred) - Clear understanding of how email marketing strategy integrates into a bigger marketing plan - Proven track record of delivering high levels of customer service to internal/external customers - Nimbleness, ability to multitask and adjust workload to meet changing priorities - Ability to function in a fast-paced, high energy, collaborative environment - Extreme attention to detail - Superior communication skills, written, oral and interpersonal - Ability to drive actionable insights from both quantitative and qualitative data - High proficiency with MS Office, specifically Outlook, Excel, and PowerPoint Preferred qualifications of this Marketing Coordinator are: - Prior experience with email and/or other digital marketing preferred - Experience working in a marketing department or advertising agency - Retail experience
