Email Marketing Contractor

GENERAL SUMMARY: National Retailer is seeking an Email Marketing Coordinator to setup and deliver email campaigns and report on key metrics of those campaigns during our 2012 holiday season. September to January.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Email Campaign Set-up, Creative Development & Execution (70%)
• Create and insert tracking links into email code, edit HTML code when necessary (i.e. price changes & items)
• Send test emails and conduct QA to ensure all content and links are correct, template rendering check
• Prep emails for deployment including working with copy editors on final edits, using Dreamweaver to make any last minute email changes, if required.
• Help with email mailing setup and deployment.

2. Reporting & Analysis (30%)
• Provide click map reporting and analysis on email campaigns
• Provide backend data reporting as asked.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
1) Competencies: Skills, knowledge, & abilities
Functional Competencies:
• Proficient in MS Office applications.
• Strong analytical and quantitative skills
• Knowledge of email, Internet and direct marketing methods
• Basic knowledge of HTML and Dreamweaver (not required, but nice to have)

Interpersonal Competencies:
• Strong attention to detail
• Strong project management skills; ability to work efficiently and meet deadlines in a cross-functional, team-based environment
• Strong communication, organization and prioritization skills
• Desire to work hard in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
• Ability to simultaneously manage multiple projects
