Email Digital Channel Producer

We are looking for an organized, collaborative, and tech savvy Email Producer on a 6+ month contract basis for one of our Financial Services clients location Downtown Los Angeles!

Under general supervision, the Email Producer creates and broadcasts emails. Leverages email templates, content specifications, design choices, and other criteria that fulfill business requirements.

-Develops, codes, and broadcasts emails to intended audiences that meet documented business requirements. Gathers email and landing page requirements, including content and design materials. Interacts with writers, designers, subject matter experts, and other stakeholders to gather all relevant email inputs to gain a comprehensive understanding of the purpose or goal of an email. Works closely with the web/digital producer to understand required timelines and schedules for emails to ensure deliverables meet deadlines. Builds emails leveraging appropriate design templates; with a high level of attention to detail, reviews emails and landing page assets to ensure conformance with requirements. Interacts with quality management and copy/content editor resources to resolve email bugs and broadcasts email to intended audiences upon final quality management signoff. Proactively raises concerns to email team members and/or management if issues are encountered that require further analysis or support.

-Interprets information from business subject matter experts and independent research to formulate recommendations on how to address email opportunities, considering business and process impacts. Determines gaps between email business needs and current email capabilities and recommends efficient and effective solutions to address gaps. Actively participates in email project team meetings to share email capabilities and recommendations. Researches competitor email offerings and customer audience needs to continually build knowledge of best practices for email communication. Makes recommendations to facilitate the highest rates of deliverability and engagement to email audiences. Analyzes the technical capabilities of the email tools, technologies, and interfaces and makes recommendations for improvement. Leverages email tool queries/reports to troubleshoot problem areas and to determine reasons for non-optimal email delivery. Follows Client/Information Technology Group’s standard development and process methodology in the execution of emails; informs technical management of exceptions required due to vendor tools or template requirements.

-Demonstrates a working knowledge of coding practices (HTML and CSS) for different email clients

-Demonstrates a general understanding of JavaScript (preferred but not required)

-Demonstrates an in-depth understanding of at least one email service provider; experience with ExactTarget is preferred but not required

-Demonstrates a working knowledge of basic Photoshop skills for image processing

-Demonstrates strong written and verbal communication skills; ability to effectively communicate with a diverse group of associates and senior business leaders; strong grammar and syntax skills; strong presentation skills; strong inter-personal skills

-Demonstrates the ability to collaborate and develop/maintain working relationships inside and outside the organization to enable effective completion of business objectives

-Demonstrates the ability to work in a team environment; initiative to work and learn independently and proactively contribute to department goals while maintaining effective business relationships with associates throughout the organization

-Demonstrates strong detail orientation, process orientation, organizational, and multi-tasking skills; ability to effectively manage an unpredictable workload and meet established deadlines

-Demonstrates sound judgment in resolving matters of moderate complexity

-Demonstrates an in-depth knowledge of multiple content channels

-Requires at least 5 years of relatable experience in a corporate environment
