Our top entertainment client is looking to hire a designer to create emails and occasionally other digital designs for their large, well-known brands. This is a three month contract position with position to extend.

The individual hired for this role will report to the Art Director of Display Marketing and work onsite at a new premiere design studio in Burbank, California. They will be responsible for creating an ongoing flow of email designs that promote our new digital streaming service, in order to increase CTR and subscriptions. In collaboration with marketing managers, fellow designers, and other stakeholders, this designer will have an attention to detail, care about pixel perfect designs, think about marketing strategies and user experiences while producing incredible creative at a rapid pace. The candidate must be an expert at understanding email design best practices and how to best present email content from mobile devices to desktops.

The candidate must have excellent communication skills, self-motivation, enthusiasm and a fine eye for detail. They must also be able to work independently, proactively gather consensus from multiple internal stakeholders and be able to change tasks quickly based on shifts in priorities or urgent deadlines. All candidates will be required to show a portfolio of their work.

Position must be located in our new offices in Burbank, California.

Qualifications:

A solid portfolio showcasing cutting edge marketing and social designs
Extremely strong Photoshop skills
An understanding of common design issues, challenges and guidelines
Complete understanding of the major social networks such as Twitter, Facebook, Instagram etc.
Expertise in marketing and social design expert
Must be a team player
Proficient in Adobe’s Creative Suite (particularly Photoshop and Illustrator)
Entertainment experience preferred.
