Email Designer

Our client is looking for a team-oriented, creative individual to create stunning designs for their CRM team, in San Francisco. This is a full-time, on-site position. If you are creative, energetic, and thrive working as part of a team, we want to talk to you! The right person will use visual assets such as photography, backgrounds, embellishments, and fonts, to concept designs and create product examples (photo books, canvases, cards, prints, and more) and then lay them out attractively in their email templates. You’ll need to keep the pulse of modern design trends, be detail-minded and produce high-quality design. 
You will work closely with their email art director, copy director, and CRM managers and report to the Director of Creative Solutions. 

Requirements 
Positive attitude, team player, and creative spark 
Digital portfolio required; must have prior email design experience 
Skills working with photos on personalized products such as photo books, calendars, wall decor (posters, canvas, panels), and photo gifts (mugs, etc.) or related type of experience 
High-level design skills that reinforce their brand and reach target audience 
High-level typography skills 
Photo curation skills to create story lines for customized products 
Deep experience with photo layout design (portfolio must reflect this experience) 
Experience implementing designs 
Awareness of current trends, industry competitors, and design styles 
Resourcefulness and ability to locate and archive assets independently 
Ability to self-manage projects and timelines 
Ability to work collaboratively and incorporate actionable feedback from key stakeholders (Head of Marketing, CRM managers, copywriter, and category managers) with a great, positive attitude. 
Great communication skills: written + verbal 
Fluency in Adobe Creative Suite software a must 
Knowledge of capabilities of their online builder tools (this can be learned on the job) 

Education: 4-year design degree is preferred but not required if portfolio reflects the type of design they're looking for 3-5+ years’ experience as a Graphic Designer required
