Reports to: Marketing Brand Manager


Position Overview:

The Email Marketing Analyst will manage multiple email marketing projects for select products and departments from concept development through execution, ensuring all projects adhere to brand standards.

Key accountabilities and specific tasks:

Through hands-on use of the Marketo platform create and execute strategic email marketing initiatives and ensure ongoing optimization of email marketing efforts.

Master in-house email marketing automation tool (Marketo) and provide day-to-day
troubleshooting of issues related to Marketo as well as Marketo’s integration with
SalesForce.

Solicit requirements, specs and assets from internal clients for email campaigns.

Develop and maintain an email marketing calendar that tracks all of Penske’s email touch points.

Setup and execute effective email marketing testing scenarios, measure and report on test results, and provide recommendations to manager and marketing team members based on results. Confirm that testing and learning is conducted in a systematic way to promote improved results.

Recommend changes to existing email marketing programs to optimize performance – and implement approved changes.

Understand database marketing principles and email list management – and use this knowledge to plan and execute highly personalized and dynamic B2B email messages.

Stay current with email marketing best practices, strategies and industry standards.

Be a brand steward, ensuring email projects consistently follow established brand, tone and voice guidelines.

The ideal candidate will occasionally use Photoshop skills to edit images and HTML skills to build new email templates.
