Education Partner Program Manager

Our client, a world leader in 3D design, engineering and entertainment software, is looking for an Education Partner Program Manager to drive awareness and increase the use of their products at Postsecondary institutions. As part of the North American Education team this person will be responsible for driving a greater level of adoption of solutions for Product Design and Engineering. This will be achieved through face-to-face contact and well as through coordination of high volume partners. Responsibilities will be executed in coordination with education marketing managers, education sales team and selected channel partners.

Duties and Responsibilities:
• Drive use and awareness of Design and Engineering products at Universities throughout North America
• Develop effective working relationships with teachers, professors, faculty, administrators and students
• Demonstrate ability to earn customer respect as trusted advisor and thought leader
• Develop hands-on workshops, presentations, webcasts and lectures to support integration of technologies into education curriculum.
• Support Americas marketing in the development and delivery of special events, training and on-campus activities of student representatives and experts at assigned education institutions.
• Work with product development divisions to understand product trends, thought leadership messaging and technical updates to products to maintain expertise in technology.
• Identify and partner with key education-related associations and professional organizations
• Maintain technical expertise in appropriate software workflow
• Provide monthly metric reports on activities.

Requirements:
• BS degree in Engineering. MS or MBA helpful.
• Experience in Sales or Marketing to relevant educational institutions
• Proven ability to develop strategic relationships - ideally with education customers and industry partners
• Confident at presenting and discussing industry standard workflows and practices as well as their application in the academic environment
• Proven ability to influence others and drive results in a matrix organization
• Ability to communicate effectively and build rapport with a wide variety of internal and external constituents
• Ability to use multiple presentation tools and techniques, adapting/fitting them to audience and topic directed by professors or account managers.
• Outstanding communication skills, including the ability to explain issues in a clear, concise, and logical manner.
• Social media savvy. Ability to develop and deliver instructional resources, blogs and other technical assistance to a large, remote audience.
• Working knowledge and capable of delivering instruction in person, through webinar or recording on our programs
• Ability to travel 50% of time to educational institutions, conferences, meetings, and other education-related events

• This is a 12 month, W-2 contract position located in San Francisco, CA; Novi, MI; or Lake Oswego, OR
