Our large financial services client located in Pittsburgh is seeking an Editorial Manager for a long-term contract assignment. This role is initially covering a maternity leave but will last up to a year.
The Editorial Manager helps translate brand and marketing strategy into high-impact, client focused collateral across a range of communications, digital and print. The individual is versatile in executing communications that promote our brand, deliver the company and support the individual lines of business. The manager understands how to create clear, compelling marketing communications editorial content including brochures, website content, thought leadership, commentaries, newsletters, scripts etc. The manager establishes strong partnerships across the company with business contacts and marketing managers, and continually expands working knowledge of complex financial products. The Editorial Manager produces a high volume of diverse communications in a consistent, high-quality and timely manner. Translate brand and business messaging objectives into compelling, client-focused collateral and copy. Includes creating, writing, editing and proof reading materials. Explain complex concepts and make them simple and relevant to clients/audiences across a range of channels and communications vehicles. The individual is well versed and experienced in developing compelling content for digital platforms and social media channels. Develop brand management tools including editorial guidelines, editorial templates, and training curriculum/approaches that frame the corporate voice and verbally bring the brand to life. Manage the day to day execution of projects including managing timelines, coordinating with subject matter experts and navigating the legal review process during the development of communications marketing communications materials. Define, track and report on readership metrics and engagement KPIs. Stay abreast of financial trends, regulatory changes and emerging financial products. Continually build knowledge of the financial and regulatory environment. Client Interaction/Relationship Building: Establish strong partnerships with business leads, marketing managers and legal teams.
