Editor/Writer - Part-Time

Our client is seeking an experienced Editor/Writer for an ongoing, part time contract (15-20 hours per week). This individual will have technology industry experience (preferably software) and provide a portfolio of various work samples that include marketing content, online, data sheets, emails, case studies, etc.

Understands adeptly the business objectives, audience, positioning and key messages for each project, campaign or event; serves as trusted advisor for the company’s product marketing group and other clients within the marketing organization; writes, edits and manages production for market-facing marketing communications to promote brand and products, maintain messaging consistency, and support the goals of the Sales and Marketing teams.

Responsibilities of this role:

-Work directly with Product Marketing and Sales Programs teams to provide high-quality content for deliverables such as e-cards, web pages, case studies, data sheets, tech briefs, white papers and brochures.

-Ensure deliverables are completed on schedule by managing the workflow in collaboration with internal clients and other marketing service providers; achieves above-average client satisfaction ratings through responsive, conscientious service.

-Collaborate extensively with other marketing services providers to ensure deliverables meet the highest possible standards and reinforce brand.

Learn about the technology, market and competitive landscape for the assigned product area by completing internal training courses and conducting online research.
