Our client is seeking a person who is responsible for providing strategic messaging, FAQs, error messages and marketing copy for a new product. You will communicate effectively through compelling targeted messages with focus on the end user. This role will work closely with the engineering team and Product Manager to ensure accurate documentation and effective communication of technical concepts, procedures and compliance/regulations for our client's Post API. This person is a hands-on contributor who can quickly and efficiently develop original copy, the ability to be both creative and analytical, will have fantastic interpersonal skills and an interest in contributing to a exciting new product launch.

Responsibilities:

- Write compelling and grammatically clean long-form website copy as well as effective headlines, taglines, and calls to action.
- Work with internal teams to craft strategic messaging.
- Provide auxiliary copywriting as needed for sales and marketing collateral, while maintaining the company's voice and creative standards.
- Brainstorm ideas for creative projects and contribute to our overall creative direction for our client's products.
- Work with internal stakeholders to gather business needs and input for writing copy for marketing deliverables.
- Manage projects in a timely fashion for multiple deliverables; work with our legal department and marketing stakeholders on copy review and approval.
- Provide best practice guidance for effective copywriting that complies with our client's policies and legal standards.
- Must understand application source code enough to extract the information that API documents require

Basic Qualifications

- 3-5 years of copywriting experience.
- Able to comfortably and confidently present to all levels within the organization in both written and verbal communication.
- Impeccable attention to detail, excellent grammar and copywriting skills.
- Think and act both strategically and tactically. The successful candidate will be a tenacious self-starter with a passion for advertising, who can serve as a strong advocate for our customers.
- Able to manage multiple tasks in a deadline-driven environment.
- Able to conceptualize and execute projects, with strong bias for action.

Preferred Qualifications

- Bachelor’s degree preferred in a relevant field such as communications, marketing, advertising or business.
- Experience with content strategy and product development.
- Advertising or creative agency experience.
- Basic HTML knowledge and applied experience.
