Ecommerce Product Manager/Business Analyst

A fantastic opportunity has arisen for an Ecommerce Product Manager/Ecommerce Business Analyst to join my client's Interactive Commerce Operations team.

The successful candidate will work on global releases with local and global stakeholders to define and improve the user experience of existing and future Ecommerce products/releases.

You will be responsible for understanding customer needs, and working alongside the Lead UX to define/improve the User Experience of Ecommerce products. You will work closely with departments across the business to ensure a high quality end-to-end customer experience, owning site defects and helping to prioritise and resolve them.

You will create requirements documents that define the high-level product requirements, ROI, and the consumer experience based on consumer and business needs assessments. Working remotely with global counterparts to identify and generate new features/products. Working with IT to communicate releases and changes to internal customers. Gaining input from Business Intelligence teams to understand performance against KPIs, identify opportunities for improvement, and manage with senior stakeholders. Perform market and competitor analysis

You must demonstrate strong interpersonal skills and a team focus, liaising with different departments within the company both locally and globally. To do this you will need to come from an eCommerce/retail background.

You will have experience of UX and/or product management and strong commercial acumen. Excellent communication skills, be highly articulate and have the ability to influence.


Business Analysis & Ecommerce product management
• Work with the business and product management teams to develop formal business cases, including: requirements, costs, benefits and ROI
• Understand customer needs and work alongside Senior UX to define/improve the User Experience (UX) of Ecommerce products
• Work closely with departments across the business to ensure a high quality end-to-end customer experience,
• Take ownership of site defects and helps to prioritise and resolve them
• Creates requirements documents that define the high-level product requirements, ROI, and the consumer experience based on consumer and business needs assessments
• Working remotely with global counterparts to identify and generate new features/ products
• Working with IT to communicate releases and changes to internal customers
• Gaining input from Business Intelligence teams to understand performance against KPIs, identify opportunities for improvement, and manage with senior stakeholders
• Support the project initiation process ensuring projects are launched with the prescribed and appropriate level of analysis documentation.
• Assist product and project management functions to ensure the continuedof business cases at quality gates, where project tolerances are exceeded directed.
• Liaise with business and technical personnel during delivery, providing unambiguous communication of requirements between personnel of different disciplines.
• Assist with the set up and execution of testing activities, according to the standard
methodology, including:
• Support for the creation of test cases by communicating key business requirements and
assisting in the prioritization of testing activities.
• Assist in the UAT process by liaising between testing, technical and business disciplines
while providing input into decision making.
• Support the project management by providing input into planning and reporting activities
while ensuring analysis documentation is accurate and adequately scoped.
• Manage structured walkthroughs of proposed systems with the business users to
produce critical success factors for the project.
• Review functional specification and technical design documents produced by the
development team from a business perspective.
• Provides analysis expertise for input into the project change control process.
• Contributes to the building of project controls by liaising with the project office.
• Produces documents and artifacts in accordance with templates and procedures.
• Provides updates and reports to the project office as directed.
• Supports the implementation of changes to the enterprise by ensuring relevant parties
have sufficient information to respond to business queries
• Provides analysis expertise for non project changes and business as usual activities, as
directed.
• Able to articulate concepts and views between departments and disciplines

Please note that this is 4-6 months contract, offering salary from £35-40k (per annum)
